Si les dijera que uno de los juegos que más me han enganchado en mi época de PlayStation nunca llegó a salir al mercado, probablemente pensaríais que os estoy tomando el pelo.
Y es que el juego del que os voy a hablar hoy contenía una violencia tan explícita y exagerada que la compañía encargada de distribuírlo (Electronic Arts) se negó a manchar su imagen publicándolo, obligando a sus desarrolladores a distribuírlo por los oscuros mundos de internet de manera no oficial.

Pensaba hablar de este juego en la sección “Cultura videojueguil”, pero por no traicionar la idea de “solos juegos anteriores a PlayStation”, he preferido hacerlo en un artículo independiente para él solo.
Como ya os adelantaba en la introducción, Thrill Kill fue un juego injustamente castigado por culpa de su temática tan… llamémoslo gore. Si a día de hoy, en pleno 2010, siguen habiendo problemas con juegos violentos, recordemos el caso Manhunt 2, imaginad lo impactante que sería en el año 1998 un juego en el que decapitaciones, desmembramientos e incluso violencia de tipo sexual, con todo lujo de detalles, era lo que más abundaba.
